We started Virtualiz3D because the documentation builders handed owners did not match the quality of the work going into the walls — and because showrooms deserved better than a flat web catalog. We scan the way a builder thinks and the way a shopper explores.
Virtualiz3D is a Toronto-based 3D scanning company with two roots: deep hands-on experience on construction sites and in the retail space. On the construction side we work with custom-home builders, general contractors, architects, developers, and insurers — capturing high-density records at every phase, from pre-drywall rough-in to finished as-built. On the retail side we build interactive virtual showroom tours for kitchen & bath, furniture, appliance, garden-centre, outdoor, and clothing retailers across the GTA and Southern Ontario.
Our construction standard is simple: capture enough detail that the record is still useful five years after handoff, when a warranty question lands or an owner wants to know what is behind a wall. That means 100–500+ scan positions on a typical custom home — far beyond the 20–30 positions a marketing-grade tour uses. For showrooms, the same density turns a floor into a shoppable, tagged tour that sells around the clock.
